  • What are Non-Needle Techniques?

Non-needle techniques are a set of holistic healing methods that offer gentle and needle-free alternatives to traditional acupuncture. These therapies are designed to promote wellness, alleviate discomfort, and enhance overall health without the use of acupuncture needles.
    Here are some examples:
Moxibustion - This therapy evolved thousands of years ago in China, and was found to have been used on Ötzi, the “Iceman" found in the Italian Alps. It is part of traditional Chinese medical practices and came about at the same time as acupuncture.
Medical Massage and Acupressure - Acupressure is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine which involves the stimulation of acupuncture points with finger pressure using the power and sensitivity of human touch, rather than the insertion of needles. This form of healing is non-invasive and gentle.
Acutonics (SM) - uses vibrating tuning forks on acupoints, with less pressure than acupressure.
Cupping - uses suction cups that lift the skin and underlying tissue. In addition to acupuncture and herbology, cupping therapy has been part of Chinese medicine for over 2,500 years.
TDP Lamp therapy - TDP is an acronym for "Teding Diancibo Pu," which loosely translated means special electromagnetic spectrum. The premise of the lamp is that the far infrared (below visible light) emissions increase microcirculation and loosen fascia to accelerate the natural healing processes of the body.
Auricular (ear) therapy - Auricular seeds for acupressure are most often used for addiction, smoking cessation, and weight loss. It involves the stimulation of the acupoints located on the ear with tiny seeds or pellets. The seeds do not pierce the skin and are painless when affixed. The client will leave these seeds in for up to one week and re-stimulate the points by massaging the ear several times each day.
